Kaunas Energy Šilkas boiler house

Reconstruction of a 21 MW biofuel boiler house, during which the following was installed:

  1. Electrostatic smoke cleaning filter for 17 (9+8MW) biofuel boilers. Smoke cleaning degree – up to 20 mg/Nm3
  2. Second stage condensing 2 MW economizer (DKE II). Flue gas temperature before DEK II 51 C, flue gas temperature after DKE II up to 30 C.
  3. Absorption heat pump with a thermal capacity of up to 7 MW. Transformation coefficient COP not less than 1.7 throughout the entire operating range.
