Flue gas condensation economizer (FGCE) is designed to cool combustion product gases by condensing water vapor from flue gases. Heat and mass transfer occurs inside the FGCE, where flue gases are sprayed directly with a large volume of condensate.
Flue gas condensing economizers
Economizers
Economizers reduce the temperature of the flue gases and at the same time increase the water temperature, which in turn improves the technical and economic performance of the boiler room. One of the advantages of this device is that, thanks to the condensing economizer, an additional 15-30 percent of the heat from the thermal energy of the emitted smoke can be recovered.
A flue gas economizer together with an absorption heat pump makes it possible to recover additional heat from a potential low-temperature heat source. This technology differs from a compressor heat pump in that the driving force here is not electricity, but heat with a high temperature potential. This equipment increases the efficiency of the existing boiler house, saves fuel, emits less CO2 into the environment and helps reduce the cost of thermal energy.
- Ecological investment
- Reduces the cost of energy
- Suitable for both renovated and newly built objects
